There are places that have a soul. La Nautique Restaurant is one of them.
Perched on its floating pavilion in the heart of the Old Port, this restaurant, unlike any other, invites you to step through the gate — to discover a gentler, more intimate and more flavourful side of Marseille.

An institution reinventing itself.
After almost 140 years of history linked to the Société Nautique de Marseille, La Nautique Restaurant is embarking on a new chapter. The same building, the same breathtaking view of the Vieux-Port — but a whole new energy, driven by passionate women who have chosen to make this legendary venue a place where life is truly good.
Three women, one shared conviction: that dining out can be excellent, welcoming and accessible all at once.
Together, they have envisioned La Nautique Restaurant as a welcoming space, where you feel at home from the moment you step inside, where you’ll be happy to return, and where every detail — from the food to the welcome — is thought through with care and sincerity.
La Nautique Restaurant embodies Marseille in all its splendour — but with a touch of femininity, relaxed elegance and freshness.
Here you’ll find the generosity of the South, the warmth of the Mediterranean, and that little Corsican touch that surprises and charms.
A classic reinvented, a restaurant that stands true to itself and reflects who you are.
In the kitchen, everything starts with the ingredients. Fresh, local and seasonal — carefully sourced from regional producers.
Our Chef creates hearty Mediterranean cuisine, with that distinctive Corsican touch that is the hallmark of La Nautique Restaurant.
Every day, the menu changes according to what’s available at the market. Every dish is designed to be shared, savoured and enjoyed.
Here, we don’t cook to impress — we cook to delight. And you can taste that in every bite.

Imagine this: you’re right in the heart of Marseille, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the Vieux-Port — and yet, you feel as though you’re somewhere else entirely. On the water, surrounded by boats, with a 180° panoramic view of the harbour. That’s La Nautique Restaurant.
A historic floating pavilion, with a relaxed and soothing atmosphere that stands in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. People come for a morning coffee, a family lunch, drinks with friends at the end of the day, or a romantic dinner in the evening. They stay because they never want to leave.
Open from Monday to Saturday, La Nautique Restaurant is your little escape in the city — just a stone’s throw from everything, yet so far from the noise.
The floating pavilion was inaugurated on 15 January 1899 for the Société Nautique de Marseille, founded in 1887 and one of the oldest yacht clubs in France. First moored at quai de la Fraternité, it has been at quai de Rive Neuve since 1938. Rebuilt in a plainer style after the fire of 1957, it has been listed as a historic monument since 2007. Its covered terrace has always housed a restaurant, for a long time reserved for club members. Since its reopening, La Nautique Restaurant is open to everyone, members or not, while keeping what makes the place special: the wood, the harbour light, the lapping of water underfoot.
From the dining room and the terrace, the view takes in the whole Old Port: the club’s masts in the foreground, quai du Port and the town hall opposite, Fort Saint-Jean and the Mucem towards the harbour mouth, Notre-Dame de la Garde above. At night the harbour lights up and the restaurant becomes one of the very few places in Marseille where you truly dine on the water.
